**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide resident care in accordance with established nursing standards and principles, physicians' orders, and administrative policies.
* Conduct assessments and monitor residents, developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating resident care plans.
* Supervise and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff, including orientations and other supervisory duties.
* Monitor performance, conduct performance appraisals, and refer problems to the Director of Care.
* Provide direction to the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Care.
**Requirements:**
* Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
* A serving heart and a passion for caring for seniors.
* Registered/eligible for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
* Previous similar experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks in order of urgency.
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills.
* Developed creative problem-solving skills to look at the "big picture".
