Job Title: Excavator Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at AJMA EXCAVATING LTD.

Job Summary

The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to dig and move earth and other materials.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment, including cleaning and lubricating.
  • Measure distance, volume, length, and weight of materials.
  • Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment.
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment

The Excavator Operator will work outdoors in a dusty environment, with various locations and tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and have attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a dusty environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
