Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2654125 Ontario Ltd. as part of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met in all aspects of food preparation and service.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales data and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that our menu offerings meet customer expectations.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that they have a positive experience in our restaurant.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Client focus and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
