Job Title: Contracts Administrator

At Cummins Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our contract administration process, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and negotiating repair and maintenance service, whole goods, time and material, NDAs, and other similar contracts in French and English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the contract administration process, responding to inbound requests and contract review and interpretation.
  • Draft contract documents, including amendments, addendums, and contract file maintenance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of work material and enhance our forms and procedures in support of Cummins initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Must speak French.
  • Legal degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience (Bachelors preferred).
  • One to three years' experience directly related to redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Working knowledge of the elements of a contract and a variety of contract types (service, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc.).
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and self-starter.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines independently.
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Ability to help facilitate consensus among multiple stakeholders and leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and SharePoint preferred.
  • Attention to detail.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.
