Financial Planner

As a Financial Planner at BMO, you will play a key role in delivering financial and investment planning advice to customers, helping them achieve their financial goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying client needs and providing tailored solutions through the sales of managed products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively engage with new and existing customers to grow loyalty and identify opportunities for growth
Implement business development strategies to acquire new business and cultivate branch referrals
Develop and implement relationship management plans to meet client needs
Respond to customer investment requests and refer clients to partners where appropriate
Develop solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs
Requirements:
Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
CFPA designation preferred or one of the following: PFP, WME, PFPC, FP I & II
Advanced working knowledge of the financial industry
Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
Verbal and written communication skills
Collaboration and team skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Influence skills
