Job Title: Early Morning Service Team Member

Michaels is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Early Morning Service Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-merchandised store, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast and friendly customer service, helping customers find what they need and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a well-merchandised store, including stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and recovering the sales floor.
  • Unload trucks, process merchandise, and maintain store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments as needed.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting commitment to our organization's vision and values.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Work Environment:

Our store is a public retail setting with climate-controlled areas. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The Frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
