About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Shuswap Lake Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC. This permanent part-time opportunity is available for 0.65 FTE and includes rotating day, evening, and night shifts.

As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in performing routine and complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments. You will also be responsible for entering data into the Lab Information System (LIS), validating and reporting test results, maintaining instruments, and contributing to training, evaluation, and improvement programs.

Our lab receives a varied caseload, and as a smaller STAT Lab, it provides a great learning environment. MLTs rotate through various departments, processing blood, urine, body fluids, and CSFs on site.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus shift premiums.
