Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at THE FT. ST. JAMES SKI CLUB. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory management.
  • Train and develop our kitchen staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, utilizing data to inform kitchen operations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our culinary genres, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
  • Ensure all staff possess food safety and handling skills, adhering to our high standards.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Food Safety Certificate, a must-have for this role.
