Laundry Attendant Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional laundry services to our residents, ensuring their linens and personal items are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to emergency response system alerts, adhering to established protocols.
  • Provide laundry services, including scheduled and non-scheduled assignments, to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Support the provision of a quality living environment by maintaining common areas and ensuring they are clean and tidy.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping processes and previous laundry experience in a hotel or retirement environment is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Awareness of environmentally sound practices is necessary for maintaining a sustainable laundry operation.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a self-directed approach and minimal supervision.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the position, including WHMIS certification and First Aid training.
