Main Role of the Treasury Solutions Department

We support Desjardins Group’s treasury IT ecosystem, ensuring the ongoing operation of IT systems related to treasury operations, helping business partners make strategic technology development decisions, and upgrading Desjardins Group’s IT systems. Rigour and control of our projects are essential skills.

Murex Application Delivery Manager Responsibilities
  • We plan deliverables for the application and technology component, estimating project costs, taking into account issues, complexity, practitioners, and tie-ins with other projects.
  • We supervise and coordinate internal contributors involved in application and tech delivery, ensuring team performance and quality control and identifying project-specific standards, methods, and procedures for the project.
  • We coordinate deliverables, ensuring agreements, budgets, and timelines are respected, and performance and alignment with application and technology priorities.
  • We analyze risks and impacts for projects and develop strategies to address them to manage application and technological risk levels.
  • We work with the project manager to manage change requests, solution testing, and strategies for the application and technology component, ensuring availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms.

Requirements
  • We require a Bachelor’s degree in IT, project management, or a related field.
  • We need a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • We require experience as a delivery manager in an agile environment.
  • We need experience delivering large-scale, highly visible, simultaneous IT projects.
  • We require project management certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe.
  • We need knowledge of French.
  • We require advanced proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
  • We need knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • We require knowledge of the banking, capital markets, and derivatives business sectors.
  • We need knowledge of Murex.
