Job Title: Sprinkler System Installer

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Installer to join our team at Quik Fire Protection Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining sprinkler systems in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports
  • Select, measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe
  • Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors, and control equipment
  • Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools
  • Install valves, alarms, and associated equipment
  • Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
  • Service and repair sprinkler systems
  • Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment
  • Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush systems
  • Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems
  • Select type and size of pipe required
  • Test systems for leaks using testing equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
