Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at Embrace Orthodontics. As an Orthodontic Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing orthodontic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bonding and removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances
  • Placing and removing arch wires
  • Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progress
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and working cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect, and cooperation
  • Thinking critically and making sound decisions
Requirements
  • CDHNS requirements to perform orthodontic procedures without Dr supervision
  • 2+ years' experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred but not required)
  • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
  • Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within province, in good standing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Current CPR and First Aid training
