Dental Hygienist

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in Bridgewater, with the option to work in Halifax as well. As an Orthodontic Dental Hygienist, you'll be responsible for bonding and removing brackets and orthodontic appliances, placing and removing arch wires, educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment progress, and collaborating with team members to maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere.

If you're self-motivated, a quick learner, and thrive in both team and independent settings, we want to hear from you. Orthodontic experience is a plus, but not required, as we provide training to help you meet CDHNS requirements for orthodontic procedures.

• Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree: Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
• CDHNS Certification: Preferred: Current CDHNS certification to perform orthodontic procedures (we will provide training if you're a new grad).
• Independent Work: Ability to work independently without a dentist's supervision on two of the scheduled days.
• Experience: Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a dental hygienist.
• Registration: Registered and in good standing with the dental hygiene regulatory authority.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to make patients feel at ease.
• CPR and First Aid: Current CPR and First Aid training.
