Job Description for Truck Driver

HD Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a truck to transport goods and materials
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Load and unload goods
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Experience an asset
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35-44 hours of work per week
