Job Description:

Ken Johnson Trucking LTD is seeking a skilled Tank Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of safety.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently and safely, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Inspect vehicles regularly, identifying and reporting any issues or damages to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • FAST (Free and Secure Trade) Program
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Work Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extended periods away from home. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
