Job Title: Tank Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tank Truck Driver to join our team at Ken Johnson Trucking LTD. As a Tank Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting bulk liquids safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, including bulk liquids.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, vehicle condition, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), FAST (Free and Secure Trade) Program, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Skills: Judgment, Organized, Reliability, and ability to work independently.
