Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Modern OT is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with various conditions, including brain injury, neurological rehabilitation, mental health, and musculoskeletal/orthopaedic injury.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as home safety and ergonomics assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Clinical experience in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopaedic injury, home safety, ergonomics, and/or return to work.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Bilingualism - French and English are assets.
