The estimated salary for this role is between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in our Labour and Delivery department, you will play a critical role in providing patient-centered care to expectant mothers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the delivery process, ensuring a safe and positive experience for all patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- A minimum of 3 years current experience in Labour & Delivery.
- Current Canadian Perinatal Program Coalition Fetal Health Surveillance Course or a readiness to complete prior to utilizing your skills as an independent Perinatal Nurse team member.
- Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care, including strong patient assessment, care planning, patient education and documentation skills.
