Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Hospitality Expert to join our team at WESTCORP PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC. in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position requiring 2+ years of experience in food and beverage service, with WHMIS certification and a strong understanding of liquor legislation and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and wine;
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Present bills and accept payment from customers in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Describe menu items and daily specials to enhance the dining experience;
  • Enforce liquor laws and regulations to ensure a safe and responsible environment for all guests;
  • Balance cash and record sales accurately to maintain financial integrity;
  • Clean and clear tables and chairs to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization;
  • Serve food and beverages to patrons in a prompt and efficient manner;
  • Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage service;
  • A valid WHMIS certificate;
  • Food and Beverage Server Training;
  • The ProServe program;
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS system;
  • A clean criminal record check.
