Clinical Academic Position in Sport and Exercise Medicine
The Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician to join our team. As a Clinical Academic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to athletes and individuals with sports-related injuries or conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical teaching and supervision to a variety of learners, including PGY 1, 2, and 3 Family Medicine Residents, medical students, and other health discipline learners.
- Participate in scholarly and academic activities, including research, quality improvement, and teaching and learning in non-clinical settings.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and others to develop treatment plans based on evidence-based care, promoting injury prevention, and contributing to ongoing research and education initiatives in the field of sport and exercise medicine.
