About the Role

As a highly skilled Head Chef's Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our head chef in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Work Setting

We are seeking a candidate to join our team at Fresh Box Sushi, where you will work closely with our experienced chefs to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Assist the head chef in inspecting kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, permanent full-time hours of 30-40 hours per week, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
