About the Opportunity

As a Care Team Assistant with Nova Scotia Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct, hands-on care to patients based on their individual needs. Working under the supervision of regulated health professionals, you will support patients' activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative care team, reinforcing patient and family teaching according to established guidelines and the plan of care.

About You

We are seeking an experienced Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) who is certified and registered with the CCA Registry. Candidates must also hold current Basic Life Support Certification.

A key requirement for this role is effective communication and listening skills, both verbally and in writing. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are considered an asset.

What We Offer

Nova Scotia Health offers a competitive hourly rate of $23.71 - $25.70, depending on experience. Successful candidates may be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.

Hours and Shifts

This permanent, full-time position involves working 75 hours bi-weekly. We encourage applicants to consider the demands of this role and ensure they can commit to the required schedule.
