Job Title: Plastics Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Plastics Machine Operator to join our team at Top Quality Plastics Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our plastic manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weigh and mix resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to precise formulae.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
  • Unload mixture into containers or conveyors for further processing.
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution.
  • Set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compounds through nozzles or dies.
  • Set up and operate moulding machines to mould plastic products.
  • Prepare and change moulds, and adjust equipment for production line changes.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use of materials.
  • Perform trimming and sanding of plastic or fiberglass parts.
Work Environment:

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding role.
