Job Description for Application Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop the detailed architecture for the application based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and other solutions to ensure solutions design aligns with Bank's standards and policies.
  • Provide thought leadership on reference architecture and design patterns.
  • Maintain a sharp focus on system reliability and ensure overall architecture of the application can handle system failures.
  • Cruise and mentor engineers.
  • Communicate effectively across diverse audiences, departments, and levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, business, Information sciences or other related field.
  • Java Developer with around 7+ years of experience in Requirements Analysis, Cloud Back-end & Front-End Design, Development, Implementation, release & deployment, and cloud implementation.
  • Experience in Big Data Cloud Architecture, working with batch data processing, real-time message ingestion, stream processing in hybrid cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience in manipulating the streaming data to clusters through Kafka and developing ETL pipelines in cloud platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills with proven track record of gaining consensus from different stakeholders.
