Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with acute stroke and neurological conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute medicine or neurology
- Successful completion of hemisphere stroke competencies series
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
