About the Role

We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Fitters to join our team at Dynamitage Castonguay ltée. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment used in various mining projects across northern Quebec.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient equipment operation
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Requirements
  • DEP in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
