Senior Meat Cutter and Wholesale Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Meat Cutter and Wholesale Specialist to join our team at Cioffi's Meat Market and Deli Ltd.
Job DescriptionThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity with 35 hours of work per week. As a Senior Meat Cutter and Wholesale Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cutting carcasses, sides, and quarters, and preparing special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
You will also be responsible for wrapping and packaging prepared meats, removing bones from meat, weighing meats for sale, pricing meat products, and selling meats to customers.
In addition, you will supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, grind meats, train meat cutters, slice cooked meats, prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
You will also be required to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience, and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
You must be able to communicate effectively in English and possess excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Salary and CompensationThe estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
