Job Summary

The Mental Health Worker provides services to transitional-aged outpatients (18 to 25 years) as part of the inter-professional team. This role requires clinical skills and experience to assess, plan, coordinate and provide treatment and support services to Clinic clients. The Mental Health Worker functions as an inter-professional team member, providing a range of clinical services, including assessment, group, individual, couple and/or family therapy where indicated, as well as community liaison and collateral work regarding clients. They role model professional and organizational core competencies.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical services to transitional-aged outpatients (18 to 25 years) as part of the inter-professional team
Assess, plan, coordinate and provide treatment and support services to Clinic clients
Function as an inter-professional team member, providing a range of clinical services
Role model professional and organizational core competencies

Qualifications

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or other Master's level degree/equivalent from an accredited university, with child and adolescent mental health training and expertise
Registration in good standing with the appropriate College or professional association, to comply with licensing according to hospital professional practice requirements
