About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Client Service Advisor to join our team in Prince George. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client relationships, providing proactive communication and support to ensure their needs are met.
  • Create and process new business applications, including gathering underwriting criteria and ensuring accurate policy documentation.
  • Process renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain renewal instructions and update information as necessary.
  • Provide policy coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry.
  • Address phone call inquiries and walk-in traffic accurately and efficiently.
  • Promote and explain insurance products to clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all general insurance products.

Requirements

  • Level 1 general license with the intention of obtaining a Level 2 license.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience with ICBC Autoplan is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with others throughout the organization.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Able and willing to work under pressure when needed.
