We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Charles River Laboratories. As a key member of our medical laboratory team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our research and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical activities and follow directives from study/phase plans and procedures.
- Analyze samples and perform phlebotomy duties.
- Conduct quality control procedures and maintain instruments.
- Adhere to preset schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Collect and record accurate data using computer systems.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and health and safety regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A college diploma in Biomedical Analysis Technology or equivalent experience.
- Membership in the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec (OPTMQ).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 20 kg and perform tasks that require standing, walking, and stooping.
- Strong understanding of written English; bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
