Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 12849682 Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, and other relevant data
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of goods
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to transportation and safety
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be required to spend extended periods away from home and must be able to adapt to changing weather conditions and road conditions.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 35 hours per week.
