About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Framatome. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for our nuclear power plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform standard engineering assignments in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, and resolution of field problems.
  • Complete field visits to support engineering work development.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure solutions identified meet underlying needs.
  • Complete engineering deliverables to support plant lifetime operations, including design, construction, testing, commissioning, plant operations, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in an engineering role.
  • Registered for a Professional Engineering License (P. Eng).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
