As a Marketing and Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate and social events for 10 to 500 people. Your duties will include researching and suggesting suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers for various event needs, creating event budgets, and tracking expenses. You will also be responsible for planning and facilitating logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with planning, organizing, and executing corporate and social events.
  2. Research and suggest suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers.
  3. Assist in creating event budgets and tracking expenses.
  4. Plan and facilitate logistics for all events.
  5. Develop marketing materials, invitations, and promotional content.
  6. Assist with on-site setup/teardown and event management.
  7. Attend external events and evaluate the relevance and potential benefits of attending.
  8. Support the maintenance and consistency of the organization's brand identity.
Requirements
  • Working towards a degree or diploma in an events or marketing-related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office projects.
  • Experience with photography and graphic design an asset.
