Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team at the Windsor Brandt Peterbilt location. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate reports, and assisting the service manager in ensuring seamless operations.

About the Job

This position involves:

  • Fielding customer inquiries and responding promptly
  • Opening and managing work orders as directed by the service manager or shop foreman
  • Maintaining a comprehensive service library with up-to-date information
  • Updating customer profiles with relevant details from work orders
  • Preparing replacement orders for accessories and supplies
  • Processing warranty and product improvement claims, including computations and submissions

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of office procedures and protocols
  • A general understanding of mechanical and technical terms
  • Basics knowledge of accounting practices

Required Experience

  • Experience with standard desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office, and internet functions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
