About the Role:

Joseph Brant Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including post-processing, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT procedures, including post-processing, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and efficiency in the CT department.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Completion of formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography.
  • Recent post-graduate experience in performing all CT procedures, including post-processing.
  • Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Radiological Technology Board of Examiners (CMRITO).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
