Key Responsibilities:
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products with precision and accuracy.
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow to optimize pharmacy operations.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
  • Process claims for health insurance or workers' compensation with attention to detail.
  • Collect and analyze statistics to inform pharmacy operations and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked pharmacy.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with customers and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Work Environment:

Our pharmacy operates in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic setting.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
