Fortinet is seeking a skilled Senior Web Developer to join its FortiClient team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, researching, and developing the FortiClient EMS software. Your expertise in full stack web development will enable you to contribute to various aspects of the software development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement microservices architecture to enhance system performance and scalability
  • Stay current with the latest trends in frontend and backend web application development
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain the FortiClient EMS software

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Express.js)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js)
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles
  • Ability to work well in a team development environment

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Python, Go
  • Experience with network topology and security
  • Experience with Docker containers

The base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Benefits eligibility starts on your first day of hire and comprises of 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, including a Health Spending Account and a Personal Spending Account. All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program. Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion.
