Public Cloud Project Manager

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Public Cloud Project Manager to lead our key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple blue chip company projects simultaneously, collaborating with stakeholders from Software Engineering through Senior Level Executives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project life-cycles, ensuring goals for both Canonical and clients are met
  • Identify and mitigate key technical and project risks and issues
  • Assist senior management with contract negotiations and project statement of work development
  • Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers
  • Manage delivery schedules of critical third-party deliverables
Requirements:
  • Proven background in IT Cloud industry as a software development project manager or IT program/project manager
  • Deep understanding of Linux, Open source, and the Public Cloud space
  • Software engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline
