About the Role

iFathom is seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer to join our team. As a Guidewire Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions using Guidewire tools and accelerators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review software requirements efficiently and build architectural diagrams/design documents
  • Design screens, business rules, and workflow changes, and write programs/configure/package/deploy software
  • Establish and follow coding standards, debug and unit test the code, and perform peer code reviews
  • Mentor junior resources and contribute to the development of business database applications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of proven experience in Guidewire Application Development, with expertise in GOSU Language, configuration, and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators
  • Guidewire Cloud Certification is a must, and experience with Agile software development, including Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance and experience with relational databases and SQL – MS SQL Server
Nice to Have
  • Experience with coding in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, and experience creating modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON
  • In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development
