About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Legault Group. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize daily store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and sales strategies;
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets;
  • Provide coaching and training to sales associates to improve their sales and customer service skills;
  • Monitor and control store expenses to ensure profitability;
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives;
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security checks;
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the store remains competitive;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to drive sales and growth;
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales associates to discuss sales performance, customer feedback, and store operations;
  • Identify and address any operational issues or concerns, and implement solutions to improve store performance;
  • Collaborate with the HR department to manage employee relations, including recruitment, training, and performance management;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or regional manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in a leadership role;
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving store performance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach sales associates;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in business or a related field an asset;
  • Fluency in English and French (written and verbal) is required;
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
