Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all meat products are displayed and priced correctly.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the display and pricing of meat products
- Wrap and package prepared meats for customers
- Weigh and measure meat products for sale
- Sell meat products to customers in a fast-paced environment
- Remove bones from meat and prepare special orders
- Grind and cut meat products as needed
- Clean and maintain the meat department to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
The Meat Counter Clerk will work in a fast-paced supermarket environment, interacting with customers and colleagues on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and provide excellent customer service.
