**Job Description**
The Healthcare Quality Improvement Manager at Ornge will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes during patient transport. This includes ensuring adherence to safety protocols and collaborating with the Medical Advisory Committee and Chief Medical Officer on quality improvement activities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and collaborate with the Medical Advisory Committee and Chief Medical Officer on quality improvement activities
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes during patient transport
- Investigate sentinel events and patient harm, driving improvements in ongoing care
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in a related field, ideally related to the designated portfolio
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in mentorship or leadership
- Maintenance of Critical Care or Advanced Care Flight Certification, along with continued clinical work
