This role involves developing and maintaining a book of business, working closely with assigned teams to convert leads into customers through effective sales strategies.

  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they excel in their roles.
  • Sell insurance solutions to diverse commercial clients and prospects, utilizing CMB's sales process tools.
  • Manage customer relationships, renewals, and claims, providing exceptional service and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and insurer stability, using this knowledge to drive business growth.
  • Utilize sales aids to maintain a competitive edge and perform administrative tasks as required.

Daily activities include promoting insurance solutions, generating leads through B2B selling, cold and warm calling, and prospecting.

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive submissions, providing underwriting information to insurers.
  • Inform customers/prospects of additional coverage and services, preparing and presenting professional proposals.
  • Visit clients, collect deposits and premiums, and review account receivable reports.
  • Review client renewals and assist in remarketing to provide optimal coverage and pricing.
  • Collaborate with the Claims department and market, rate, and quote new and renewal business.

As a mentor, provide support and ensure team growth in knowledge and expertise. Familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures, attending staff meetings and company functions.

  • Achieve >15% C&F Net Growth.
  • Maintain >15% Average Commission.

This role operates in a professional office environment. Required qualifications include Level 2 Insurance Agent, CIP or CAIB designation, and 3-7 years experience as a Sales Executive in a similar role. Preferred qualifications include post-secondary education and an outstanding personality.
