Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Veterinary Technologist to join our team at the Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong ability to prioritize and problem-solve.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of clinical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, in-house lab work, anesthesia/sedation monitoring, patient assessment, and emergency triage.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinarians and other support staff to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance technical skills and expertise.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
