Mehgan Search and Rescue (MSAR) is seeking a skilled Animal Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for handling animals, assisting in regular exercise, and providing care and attention to our canine companions.
Responsibilities- Handle and care for all breeds of dogs
- Assist in regular exercise, such as walking and training
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for our animals
- Collaborate with our team to ensure the well-being of our canine assets
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in animal care or a related field
- Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
- Valid passport
This role will be based in a rural area and will require working with search and rescue teams, police dog/canine services, and other organizations. You will be required to work 35 to 50 hours per week and must be legally able to work in Canada.
