Job Title: Automation Solutions Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Solutions Developer to join our team at Grantek Systems Integration. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions.
  • Conceptualize and develop automation solutions during the design phase of the project life cycle.
  • Program, debug, and test automation systems.
  • Create documentation, including project engineering notes, project proposals, and project design traceability documentation.
  • Commission new solutions at client sites and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Develop methodologies and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and mentor colleagues on your expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with automation technologies, including PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and database development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America.
