Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Land and Donair. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare budget and cost estimates, to support business growth and decision-making.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced conditions.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, and physically demanding tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
