Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at G.T. French Paper Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to various locations. This is a permanent position requiring a valid AZ class license and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime and handle heavy loads.
