What You Can Expect to Do Here:

  • You will lead the engineering design of HVAC and plumbing systems for new construction and retrofit projects.
  • You will develop and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • You will oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • You will provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • You will collaborate with other disciplines to develop integrated solutions.

What You'll Bring to WSP:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering consulting industry, focusing on mechanical systems design for buildings.
  • A valid PEO license.
  • LEED Accreditation and sustainable design experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading mechanical system design across various facility types.
  • Proven ability to lead a mechanical design team across complex multidisciplinary projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
