Welder Job Description

CANADIAN SPRING REPAIR LTD. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of settings, including outdoors and confined spaces.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
